Polly the Demon Hunter is a comic wherein the titular swordswoman climbs up 5 floors of a fortress, slaying demons while rescuing (and seducing) various captured demon hunters on the way. It is a recent creation by Slipshine's founder [[Josh Lesnick]], and a reboot [[#Polyp the Hunter|Polyp the Hunter]], one of the earliest series to debut on the website.

=== Polyp the Hunter ===
An earlier comic featuring Polly was created way back in 2000, shortly before the creation of Slipshine. Aside from the obvious name change of the heroine, the comic was a bit grittier, with Polly being a bounty hunter rather than a demon hunter. Thus, she hunted human criminals, often with bloody results. Polly also spoke in this version and in the first story, she used a sub-machinegun along with her ninjaken.
